Associate Consultants

AWICS are looking for people who would like to become Associate Consultants. The role requires not only appropriate qualifications and significant relevant experience, but also a strong commitment to public services to working with independence, integrity and value. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with expertise in independent tenants' & residents' advice, housing, finance, accountancy or local government.

Fees are negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience.

Associate consultants are not office-based and so can be based at any location.

Marketing Assistant

We have a vacancy for a part-time (one day a week) marketing assistant.

The role includes assisting in the drafting of marketing material, newsletters and briefing papers; and maintaining databases.

We are flexible regarding location, hours of work and home-working and would welcome applications from self-employed people.

The successful applicant will be reliable and enthusiastic. Skills required include general administrative and clerical skills; some knowledge of public services such as local government or housing; and being up to date with information technology including word, spreadsheets, databases and use of the Internet.

Receptionist

We have a vacancy for a part-time receptionist who will assist at seminars and conferences that are held in London. The work will not be regular and will be on an 'as required' basis. The successful applicant will be reliable and enthusiastic and will meet and greet delegates at seminars and conferences at a reception desk and provide general assistance. Good customer care skills are required.
